Ciao tutti,
I have seen so many job search ads and I want to know: do foreign students actually find work in Florence? If you have found work in Florence, please leave a message here with your job hunting experience. Do you have tips you can share?
I have a friend who wants to know that he could find work before coming to Florence. He is ready to do anything (well, nothing illegal) He does not know where to start!
Yeah I am coming to Florence next year I want a job bad! Preferably retail since I have experience in that. I am studying there for paint restoration and be there like two years. I speak good Italian. Anyone actually work in Italy, and how hard was it to find a job??
To find a job in Florence it's very easy if you are ready to work during the evening/night in bars, pubs, restaurants or in clubs.. and if you are fluent/mothertongue English and if you can - at the same time - understand basic Italian...(some experience will be very appreciated, of course)
Clubs, Bars, Pubs, restaurants, are definitely the best places where you can easily find part time/temporary jobs...
You can find other opportunities of job in the Florentine Tourism sector (Hotel, B&B, etc..) . In this case you have to work during the day and it will be more difficult to attend schools or university at the same time...
